[ This whole post will be dam long... ]
ITACSD YMD Diamokukai
ITAC [ Institute of Technology, Arts and Commerce ] had a diamokukai at one of our senior CIC [ Campus In-Charge ], Shi Han house yesterday. during the start, I've planned not to go, because supposely there was a booth for FD-Coaching on that day. In the end, we took out the idea of having the booth on that day and changed it to be whole briefing on April 6th.
I did not regret my choice of going there, NOT even 0.00000001%. I was thinking that I would lots of diamoku for all my struggles, and when I was shocked when my IIC [ Institution In-Charge ] , Roy said
"Lets have a different doshi for each 30mins, and lets concentrate solely on just one prayer each 30mins. The prayers are,
1st : The victory in studies and work of all ITAC-SD IICs, CICs and Members
2nd : All ITAC-SD CICs, IICs and Members to win in each and every of their struggles in life
3rd : The emergence of the bodhisattvas of the earth in ITAC-SD.
Lets really concentrate for each during each interval."
Therefore, I was thinking, 3 X 30mins = 1 ½ hours. It was really the lots of diamoku that I needed, I really did not went the wrong place.
We chanted with all our hearts poured into it, and you could really hear the Itaidoshi of our diamoku. One of our CIC, Wei Zhang shared, lets chant with all our hearts and chant like the rythmn of a galloping horse.
Right after our gongyo and diamoku, it was 9.15 already. We didn't went home after that, in fact, everyone shared our experiences of the 3.16 and 3.15. Most of our best memories in 3.15 is actually the 4 words that GD [ General Director ] told us. The very first time GD met Sensei at Japan, Sensei knew that GD needed some guidance to help him leading our SSA [ Singapore Soka Association ]. Sensei gave him 2 words at that time, they were "Be Patient". After which, GD went back Singapore and be really patient in fighting for kosen-rufu in Singapore, but things didn't went well. The following year, GD went to meet Sensei at Japan again. This time, Sensei gave him another 2 words "Don't Hesitate". GD was confused by the 4 words given by Sensei and he went to seek guidance from a senior in faith. The senior understood what Sensei meant and told him, "Sensei wants you to know when to be patient and when to not hesitate! When you are about to fight for a campagin, be patient of the results and when the opportunty comes, don't hesitate to fight for kosen-rufu!" When GD said this, it really strikes my mind. I linked it back to my own struggles, I was too in patient of the results, I should really chant more for it instead and when the time comes, I wont hesitate to do anything that is for sake of kosen-rufu and world peace!
After which, Our SD [ Student Division ] Vice Chief, JiYang shared with us some of the struggles that our Seniors had during the preparation of the 3.15 and 3.16. I would like to use this opportunty to thank all my seniors in faith that made the 3.15 and 3.16 a great success! I would also want to offer my deepest graditute to the MDs and WDs, that was been working being the scenes all along! Our seniors are not superman, they also faced struggles in their own life, but the only different between us and them is, whether do we give up when we met up with problems? For myself, I don't know, but I had promised myself that I will try my best to give all out! Cancer people has strong determination! [ lolx... ]
We had some gosho study, and JiYang shared about the rommance of the 3 kingdom. Toda Sensei once said this during his last moments of life, "I don't need anything, all I need is capable people!" Now, the same sentence is reused by Ikeda Sensei for he doesn't know how long more he could survive. Ikeda Sensei had officialy passed the baton of kosen-rufu to all of the youths in SGI [ Soka Gakkai International ]. In the story of the rommance of the 3 kingdom, ZhuGe Liang won the battle because he had all the capable leaders with him, but that doesn't means CaoCao doesn't have any. Its because, ZhuGe Liang had all the capables leaders spread out in their own personal skills, he had fully made use all his leaders to great use. [ In fact, Liu Bei wanted to unite all the 3 kingdoms for world peace ] Now, the sake of kosen-rufu is in our hands, in all the very hands of all youths of SGI, its whether we want to react to our Sensei's call and be the capable leaders to strive for the common goal of kosen-rufu and world peace!
Lastly, the meeting ended around 10.30pm. We stayed around there and had our own dialogues with the rest of the CIC, Roy and JiYang til about 11pm. ShiHan's mom treated us with some simple supper, which we really need to thank his mom for it.
On my way back, I took 86 at Ang Mo Kio Cetntral and changed to 136 at Sengkang. I actually saw the 136 when I was at the overhead bright and rushed down for the 136 bus. What I didn't expect was, the bus captain not just waited for me. He even greeted me when I was aboarding the bus! I replied him "Xie xie ni, uncle" with a bright smile. And when I was about to alight, there was no one left in the bus except me and the driver. I was thinking whether I should go infront and thanks the uncle again anot. When the bus stopped. The uncle waved his hand out to me, I waved my hand back again, thinking if I could say thanks to him again. I was totally shocked when the bus actually waited for me to walk pass the front door! Then, the uncle smiled and said, "byebye." I couldn't think much and said thanks and byebye to him again. The bus captain was really a very role modal for singapore and the world. With just a smile, You can make so much different to everyon's life in your environment!
Therefore, Lets us all do our Human Revolution everyday, and make a difference in not just our lives, but also the lifes our others in our environment!
